How does the trial lesson work?
During a 60 minute trial lesson, students get a firsthand experience of how focused, one to one tutoring can create clarity, confidence, and real progress. They work with either an IB elite tutor (€50) or a Licensed IB Teacher (€85), allowing them to immediately feel the difference that expert, personalised guidance makes from the very first session.
Can I choose our tutor?
Based on our intake discussion and our assessment of the best fit, we select one of our tutors for you. Nonetheless, we warmly welcome and consider any specific preferences you may have.
What advantages does private tutoring offer?
Tutoring offers a unique advantage not available in traditional school settings. The personalized attention of private lessons aims to significantly enhance your performance, frequently surpassing expectations. While we can’t promise specific outcomes, as students ultimately face their exams independently, we assure you of top-quality assistance that makes a real difference.
In what subjects and at what levels does Acady provide tutoring?
We offer comprehensive tutoring across all IB MYP and IB DP subjects, including both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) courses. Additionally, for PYP and IPC students, we provide specialized support in mathematics and English.
Can I get a consultation first?
Every new client receives a phone consultation to clarify details and outline a fitting tutoring strategy. For a thorough in-person intake, simply request it when booking your trial lesson. This deeper dive helps us understand your needs and craft a pathway to success. Based on our expertise, we’ll collaboratively design the right approach.
How do I know how much tutoring is appropriate?
Determining the right tutoring frequency can be challenging. We always suggest starting with a minimum of one 60-minute session weekly as a foundation for steady progress.
In cases where significant improvement is desired, two sessions per week may be more effective. For a tailored approach, a trial lesson followed by the tutor’s assessment will help set an appropriate weekly session count.
This advice allows you to make an informed decision, with the flexibility to adjust frequency as needs change.
